Traveling Safely with Peace of Mind
Updated: Nov 17, 2020
We are just going to say it, nothing has been easy with the emergence of COVID-19 this year. Whether it is getting groceries, visiting a loved one, or commuting to work, we have all had to make significant changes in our lives. One thing we may all be missing right now is the ability to travel. Yes, it is disappointing to not travel to your favorite vacation destination, but it is also extremely frustrating and worrisome to get from A to B on a more local level as well. This is where we come in to put your stress levels, worries, and mind at ease.
At Joseph's Transportation we have been working throughout the pandemic, constantly adapting with new techniques to battle all of the challenges that COVID-19 has thrown at us. We have developed new strategies and procedures to ensure the safety of our riders and our great staff members. Let us give you a little rundown.
As our understanding of COVID-19 continues to evolve, so are we. Joseph's Transportation is staying on top of all recommendations and have increased safety and cleaning measures to provide a safe environment for our riders.
We have stepped up our cleaning measures and have introduced daily disinfecting of vehicles and our office space. We are disinfecting highly used touchpoints throughout the day as well. And to top if off we have purchased our own electrostatic sprayers. Electrostatic sprayers work by charging liquids (i.e., sanitizers, and disinfectants) as they pass through a sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel one another and actively seek out environmental surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around to coat all sides.
Joseph's Transportation requires all riders to wear masks on all of our vehicles. All drivers and staff are also required to wear masks to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
We request that riders do not sit directly next to or behind another passenger, and to never sit in a row behind the driver. Parties such as families may sit together but we would still request that they do not sit directly behind other passengers. When it doubt, spread out!
Anti-bacterial hand sanitizer pumps have been installed on all vehicles.
The bottom line is that this disease is extremely contagious and the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are present is very real. But with the measure we are taking, we believe we can reduce these risks as long as we can come together and all do the right thing. We can still move around and get from A to B, and Joseph's Transportation would be grateful to move you and your group again, safely!
